 Sealed bids will be received in the Office of the Town Manager, P.O. Box 220, Block Island, RI 02807 until 1:00 p.m. (Local Time) on Friday, January 8, 2021 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Please note that bids cannot be accepted via email or fax, although a curtesy copy may be sent to townmanager@new-shoreham.com.

If bids are mailed via US Postal Service address bids to:

If bids are sent via UPS, Fed Ex etc. address bids to:

Bidder is solely responsible for allowing sufficient time for delivery and understanding delivery to Block Island can be delayed by weather and other transportation delays. Bids received after the deadline above will not accepted and shall be returned to the bidder unopened.

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the proposal and to accept the proposal considered to be in the best interest of the Town of New Shoreham.

Failure to submit all information as detailed in the Bid documents and/or submission of an unbalanced bid proposal are sufficient reasons to declare a proposal as non-responsive and
subject to disqualification.

Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify the Town Clerk at (401) 466-3200 forty-eight (48) business hours prior to the Bid opening. TTY: 711.
