JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Position Title: Administrative Assistant

Temporary  Position until April 1, 2019  - 20 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-Noon)
Department:    Building
Supervisor:     Building Official
Salary:            $15 .00/hour with No Benefits 

Position Purpose: Provide a wide range of administrative support services to the Building Official while maintaining the utmost level of professionalism.  Responsibilities include facilitating the administrative needs of the Building Official, answering phones, preparing correspondence, processing and collecting payments for building permits, compiling and maintaining records within an organized filing system, ordering supplies.

Education:   High School diploma preferred or equivalent.

Skills:  Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.  Superior written and oral communications skills with business writing experience.  Strong organizational skills. Ability to effectively interact with many levels of government.

Experience: Two years of administrative work preferred.
